I’m Alyssa—Minnesota photographer and total pushover for anything with fur, paws or floppy ears.

Based in the land of 10,000 lakes (and at least that many adorable pets), I work with fellow animal lovers who’s pet’s are an irreplaceable part of the family, absolutely spoiled and somehow always get away with stealing most of the bed.

My love for animals has woven through every chapter of my life: from dog walking as a kid, to training shelter dogs in college, to fostering and volunteering with local rescues. It’s who I am at my core—an animal lover and a creative, through and through.

So when Shine Pet Photography was born, it felt less like a business idea and more like coming home.

I’m here to help you celebrate the soul pets in your life—the ones who leave paw prints on your heart and make your world feel whole. These aren’t just photos. They’re keepsakes of the love you never want to forget.

My heart has been stolen by 3 free roam bunnies — yes it’s their house, I’m just living in it.
